Train travel to the airport
Faster and more comfortable
From now on, you can travel to Schiphol Airport even faster and more comfortably by train. Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS) is putting a new timetable into effect on December 11th. The number of trains to the airport will be increased, and the journey time will be reduced by several minutes. For example, you can now travel from Breda to Schiphol in less than an hour, and from Rotterdam to Schiphol in just over half an hour. The new timetable also includes a new direct train service from Utrecht to Schiphol, with a journey time of just 30 minutes.
Real-time information
In addition to the new timetable, NS is also introducing a number of other improvements to make train travel to the airport even more convenient. For example, real-time information about the trains to and from the airport will be available on a new website and app. This means that you can always check the latest information about your train, even when you are on the go. You can also buy tickets for the train to the airport online or through the app. This means that you no longer have to wait in line at the ticket counter.
NS is investing heavily in improving train travel to the airport. The new timetable, the new website and app, and the new ticket sales system are all part of this investment. NS wants to make train travel to the airport as easy and convenient as possible, so that more people will choose to travel to the airport by train.
