Bruins Take Game 1 of Second Round Against Panthers
Swayman, Lohrei, and Brazeau Lead the Way
Bruins Win 5-1
Jeremy Swayman turned aside 35 shots while Mason Lohrei and Justin Brazeau each scored their first career playoff goals to help lead the Boston Bruins to a 5-1 win over the Florida Panthers in Game 1 of the second round of the playoffs on Monday night.
David Pastrnak, Brad Marchand, and Jake DeBrusk also scored for the Bruins, who took a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven series. Linus Ullmark made 31 saves for the Bruins.
The Bruins will need to get the ice bags ready against a Panthers team that peppers the net both from Grade-A ice and the blue line.
